ITV’s The Ipcress File: Good or Bad? This is a review of the latest version of the Ipcress File by TV director and producer Jonathan Glazier. Starring Michael Caine, the original film of Len Deighton’s book became a classic. It epitomises the 60’s with its cool visuals and restrained performances from the cast. The ITV remake still has that wonderful retro look, although of course, in the ’60s the canted shots were cutting edge and the technology bang up to date. Although the book is set pre-1963. Now with Peaky Blinders actor Joe Cole controversially cast as Harry Palmer and some rather wonky camera shots, listen to what i have to say about this show. Thanks JG
